Description

The state of the commercial market creates complexity with repairs & maintenance on partially occupied buildings. This presents unique complexities with how to preserve asset values with constrained funding sources.

This class will present core concepts in commercial building envelope systems and materials, and best practices for repairs and maintenance. The focus of the presentation is R&M planning and execution, both in quality of repair and how to deploy dollars most effectively. Several case studies will highlight project approaches and specifics of problem-solving. Immediate repair and mitigation, as well as long-term planning and problem-solving, will be presented.

This class will count for 1.5 CE credit hours. Lunch will be provided.
